Ink pads, also called stamp pads, are used with traditional wood handle stamps, peg stamps, and rocker mounts. The type of ink pad for your application is best determined by the type of ink you are using, the size of stamps being used, and sometimes by the environment it's being used in. We stock pads raging in size from less than 2" x 3" to our huge (laptop-size!) ink pad that measures 9" x 12". We also carry replacement pads for many brands of self-inkers.
Heavy Duty Industrial Ink Pads
Shiny brand industrial pads have an extra durable polypropylene case with linen covered pad. These pads stand up to alcohol and solvent-based inks. All industrial pads come uninked.

These cloth-covered felt pads are housed in a metal case and can be used with solvent-based inks which tend to damage plastic casings. This model has a hinged lid and a rubber seal which helps keep the pad moist when closed. Slower drying alcohol inks work well with this pad, but any solvent based in can be used. All pads come uninked.

Developed by Noris specifically for fast drying inks like #196, #199 and #191, this circular ink pad helps prevent inks from drying as quickly in the pad so you do not have to re-ink as often. Once inked this pad can stay wet for days.

Hard, porous ceramic pads store ink in a felt pad below. The ceramic wicks fast-drying ink to the surface from the felt below, metering just the right amount of ink for marking on non-porous surfaces. When not in use, the construction of the pad prevents evaporation of the ink. In use, one side always remains closed. When the side in use begins to dry out, the pad is simply reversed and the second side is ready for use. While the second side is being used, the first side rejuvenates itself and is ready when needed.
